The Monroe League of Women Voters needs your help!
With your support we will continue to carry out our mission to provide non-partisan voter information to the public.
Click on "Calendar" to view our current schedule of events and activities.
Become an active volunteer and join the League of Women Voters.
Everyone is welcome! As a member, you will:
- have the opportunity to participate in local, state, and national League work. As a member of the Monroe Township League, you are automatically a member of the National and New Jersey League of Women Voters.
- get exclusive civic information you can trust.
- know that your membership dues add to our grassroots strength and our financial resources.
Annual dues:
- One member: $60
- Two members in the same household: $90
- Student 16 or older: $10
Note that $55 of your dues supports the National and NJ State Leagues ($32 to LWVUS and $23 to LWVNJ).
How to join:

Go to www.lwvnj.org and click the Join button at the top of the page. Two payment options are displayed: monthly or annually. Within your desired payment option, selection the desired membership type in the green button, and then:
- Fill in the requested information (name, address, etc.)
- Click on the blue Next button.
- Fill in the payment information, and complete the transaction.

How to donate:
Membership dues are not tax deductible. However, donations to our Education Fund are tax-deductible. To make a donation, please download and fill out the Donate to the League form at the bottom of this page. To donate online, click here.

Who are the members?
Membership in the League of Women Voters -- the most respected and effective grassroots organization in the country -- is open to men and women of voting age.
Our members make a visible difference by serving as community leaders and using their experience to create positive, lasting change in our communities.
Why should I join?
Through participation in League projects, you will:
- contribute valuable service to the community
- gain knowledge and experience through the study and discussion of timely and important topics
- discover new interests, develop new skills and learn about crucial issues in your community
- make professional contacts and develop lasting friendships as you meet others in League who share your interests
How much time does it take?
It's up to you! Many members choose to support the League only with their annual dues. Your membership alone gives us the political influence needed to build a voice for citizens and a force for change. We cover a broad spectrum of issues and concerns; you may choose to become involved in one or more of them by actively participating in a group study, or listening to a panel of experts at a meeting or just reading about them in one of our publications.
What do I get?
You automatically become a member of LWV New Jersey and LWV of the United States, and you will receive their publications. You will receive the newsletter from the Monroe Township League of Women Voters, as well as email updates. You will have the knowledge that you are adding your voice to a powerful force of members from all 50 states, Washington DC, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.
How do I join or renew my membership?
To join, download and print out a membership form and submit payment by mail, or go to www.lwvnj.org and click on the JOIN button. Once you are a member, you will automatically be notified when it's time to renew.
